What is Palliative Care?

The goal of Palliative Care, a specialized medical care, is to improve the quality of life for both the patient and family.

Palliative Care (pronounced pa·lee·uh·tiv kehr) focuses on providing relief from the symptoms and stress that accompany a serious illness.

Palliative Care is based on the needs of the patient rather than the prognosis, and is appropriate at any age/any stage of a serious illness, and may be provided alongside curative treatment. Care is provided by a specially trained team of doctors, nurses, and other specialists who work together, as well as with the patient's other doctors, to provide an extra layer of support.

Our Mission

To be the most compassionate and caring Hospice by helping patients and families accept terminal illness, allowing them to live each day to the fullest and to enjoy their time with family and friends all while dealing with the challenges at the end-of-life.
